It was a sloppy game for both teams, I could write you an article about what happened in the game, but what’s the point. Instead, I’m going to give you a history lesson.

The Wrap-Up:
The Yanks have now won five straight against the Sox, winning their first of the season at Fenway tonight. They are now 32 games over .500 and seven games ahead of Boston in the loss column. The bad news, tonight was a very sloppy game. The pitching was pretty much terrible, but they picked a good night to be terrible.

Coming Up Next:
A.J. Burnett (10-6, 3.69) goes against the guy who gave up the game winner in the 15 inning game, Junichi Tazawa (1-2, 5.40).

*Coleman – To answer your question, I actually studied graphic design for years and got pretty handy with Illustrator… The Boston matchup was an absolute massacre, although it seemed like we got a little sloppy toward the end. It was great to see Marte on the mound again, but awful to see Mitre and Bruney get torn apart. Can’t wait for game 2.

    Hi, NYColeman …

There was a great headline today on the front page of the NY “Daily News” …
“Boston Tee-Off Party” … Yankees beat Red Sox 20-11
This win was a great way for the Yankees to start this big three-game series against the Red Sox, and a major statement by the Yanks who increased their lead to seven and a half games in the AL East !!!
It is a great day for all of us in the “Yankees Universe” !!!
    Take care, NYColeman !!!
Enjoy the game this afternoon !!!
